Pudu Jail no more...
Saw this clip posted in FB 2 days ago, and only realise it had been tore down and kept no more.
I don't have much memories about this building. I remember when I was young, I ask my mum what's that building, and she told me it is a jail, where bad people were punished and be kept in. I wanted to go in and visit, but I'm sure no outsiders are allow to enter. The outward appearance of the building is beautiful then, cos we can see the waterfall and green grass and trees. It doesn't look like a jail to me.
When I studied college, this place i can only remember is the road junction, where it is very jam every morning where people were travelling to work. Sooner or later, it has been closed down as it can't contain much prisoners and needed to shift. And later when they open door, I wasn't in a hurry to visit, cos I thought it will become a museum some day, where this will alert the public of how a prison can be rather than understands it through watching movies. But sad enough and I missed my chance. The government had decided to tore it down without giving a chance to public to voice their view.
Demolition has been made, and other parts of the building will be tear down soon. I heard that they will be building a commercial place. But doesn't it feels eerie when that place used to be jail? Hope those souls did rest their peace and no more UE3 the second.
