One of the nice picture of House MD
Off and on I will watch other dramas other than HK TVB's drama. After finish the popular hit drama Beyond Realm of Conscience (宫心计), I decided to take a break and watch other dramas.
House MD has been in my hard disk for some time already and I had never take the effort to start it. I started to watch it 3 days ago, and it has manage to capture my attention to continue it. The storyline is simply. No big big action, just simple scenes of peoples with sickness and doctors with a caring heart.
Episode 5 was talking about babies getting infected after they are borned. Dr. House thinks it's infection virus and decided to take the case. 4 babies were infected, lying in the small wad helpless. There comes a point whereby he had no choice but to sacrifice 2 babies in order to try 2 different medicines. Unfortunately, 1 died another one survived.
This make me think deeply that night. Imagine a baby, so pure and innocent and not even had a chance to choose whether they wanted to live, and the adult had made the choice for them. Even though the baby had sacrifise, but other 3 babies were lived. Do hope that human really have to take life seriusly and live noblely.
On the other hand, Haiti's 7 grade earthquake had killed many lives. It just saddens me. Lord, please do have mercies on your people and it's time, that more people will turn to you in this time of sorrow to find comfort, help and hope. May the good Lord watch over the Haitians.
